Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how Prestige Pressure Washing handles deposits, cancellations, completed services, billing errors, refunds, and customer concerns related to exterior cleaning services.
1. Policy Overview
Prestige Pressure Washing is committed to providing professional exterior cleaning services and addressing legitimate customer concerns fairly. Because our services involve labor, equipment, cleaning solutions, travel, scheduling, and work performed at a customer’s property, payments for completed services are generally not automatically refundable.
2. Estimates, Approval, and Payment Authorization
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the services, scope of work, pricing, deposits, and payment terms shown in an estimate, proposal, invoice, booking confirmation, text message, email, or other written communication.
By approving work or submitting payment, the customer authorizes Prestige Pressure Washing to perform and charge for the agreed services. Additional work will be discussed and approved before it is intentionally added to the final bill.
3. Deposits and Advance Payments
Prestige Pressure Washing may require a deposit or advance payment for certain projects, commercial work, specialty services, large appointments, recurring programs, or reserved scheduling.
The refundability of a deposit will be determined by the terms provided with the estimate, proposal, invoice, or booking confirmation. A deposit may be applied toward reserved labor, scheduling, materials, equipment, travel, administrative costs, or other project preparation.
When no separate deposit terms are provided, refund requests will be reviewed based on the timing of the cancellation, costs already incurred, work already performed, and the ability to refill the reserved appointment.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when canceling or rescheduling. When a cancellation occurs before work begins and Prestige Pressure Washing has not incurred project costs, an eligible prepaid amount may be refunded or credited.
A full refund may not be available when labor has already been scheduled or dispatched, materials have been purchased, travel has occurred, equipment has been reserved, preparation has begun, or other nonrecoverable costs have been incurred.
Weather-related rescheduling initiated by Prestige Pressure Washing does not cancel the customer’s service. Payments or deposits will normally remain applied to the rescheduled appointment unless another arrangement is made in writing.
5. Completed Services
Payments for services that have been completed according to the approved scope of work are generally nonrefundable. Exterior cleaning results depend on the surface material, age, condition, prior treatments, staining, oxidation, deterioration, drainage, environmental exposure, and other property-specific factors.
Pressure washing and soft washing are cleaning services. They do not repair damaged materials or guarantee complete removal of every stain, discoloration, rust mark, oil spot, oxidation, efflorescence, artillery fungus, paint, or permanent surface defect.
6. Service Concerns and Opportunity to Correct
Customers should report a service concern as soon as reasonably possible after the work is completed. Please provide the service address, date of service, a description of the concern, and photos when available.
Prestige Pressure Washing may inspect the area and, when the concern relates to the approved scope of work, may offer an appropriate solution such as additional cleaning, correction of an incomplete area, a service credit, a partial refund, or another reasonable resolution.
The company must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct a legitimate service issue before the customer hires another provider, alters the area, disposes of evidence, initiates a chargeback, or seeks reimbursement from another source.
7. Situations That May Qualify for a Refund
A refund or partial refund may be considered when:
- A customer was charged more than the approved amount.
- A duplicate payment was processed.
- A prepaid service was canceled before work began and no nonrecoverable costs were incurred.
- Prestige Pressure Washing is unable to perform a prepaid service and the parties do not agree to reschedule or apply a credit.
- A documented service issue cannot reasonably be corrected.
- A refund is otherwise required by an applicable written agreement or law.
Each request is evaluated individually based on the approved scope of work, service records, photos, communications, payment history, property conditions, and circumstances involved.
8. Costs and Circumstances That May Be Nonrefundable
Refunds may be reduced or denied for amounts connected to:
- Services already completed within the approved scope of work.
- Labor, travel, fuel, cleaning solutions, materials, rentals, or equipment already used or committed.
- Customer-requested additions or changes that were approved.
- Missed appointments, inaccessible property, unavailable water, unsecured animals, or unsafe site conditions caused by the customer.
- Results affected by pre-existing damage, oxidation, deterioration, improper installation, permanent staining, or unrealistic expectations outside the agreed scope.
- Cancellation terms, deposits, or fees clearly disclosed before payment.
- Third-party processing fees that are not returned to Prestige Pressure Washing, when permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
9. Billing Errors, Duplicate Charges, and Overpayments
Please contact Prestige Pressure Washing promptly if you believe a payment was duplicated, processed for an incorrect amount, or applied to the wrong invoice. Confirmed billing errors and overpayments will be corrected.
We may request documentation such as a receipt, invoice, payment confirmation, or redacted bank or card statement showing the disputed transaction.
10. Refund Method and Processing Time
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when possible. If the original payment method cannot be used, Prestige Pressure Washing may arrange another reasonable method.
After a refund is issued, the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment processor controls how quickly the credit appears. Processing times vary and may take several business days.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Prestige Pressure Washing before filing a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to review the concern and work toward a resolution.
Fraudulent, inaccurate, or abusive chargebacks may be disputed using estimates, invoices, service records, photographs, messages, signed approvals, payment authorizations, and other available documentation. Filing a chargeback does not eliminate a valid balance owed for approved and completed services.
12. Changes to This Refund Policy
Prestige Pressure Washing may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in services, payment practices, business operations, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
